Elder Fred Reese Dies at Gravette; Services Monday
GRAVETTE, Ark. — Rites for Elder Fred Reese, 73-year-old pastor of the Kingdom of God Church here, who died Friday afternoon at Gravette Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Callison-McKinney Chapel here. Mr. Reese lived on Gravette route 3.
Burial will he in Daniels Cemetery, east of here.
Mr. Reese was born Oct. 19, 1896, in West Virginia.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Orpha Reese; a son, Fred Reese Jr., Greeley, Colo.; two daughters, Mrs. Freda Johnson and Mrs. Thelma Clark, both of Gravette; two brothers, Robert Reese, Sulphur Springs, Ark., and David Reese, state of Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Puryear and Mrs. Charlie Wright, both of Gravette, 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
