Mamie E. Reese, 89, of Gravette, died Sunday, Nov. 20, 1994, at Gravette Manor. Born Oct. 14, 1905, in Benton County, the daughter of Hugh and Myrtle Stiles Elsea, she worked in the old Gravette Hospital and did home care in the Gravette area. She attended the Donirvan Full Gospel Church for many years and then the Assembly of God Church in Gravette. She was married to Robert Reese.
Survivors are four daughters, Juanita Shook of Bentonville, Dorthey Allen, Ruby Queen of Gravette and Betty Sluik of Avoca; two sisters, Mildred Lee of Gravette and Minnie Gailey of Anaheim, Calif.; three brothers, Wade Elsea of Tulsa, Okla.; Leroy Elsea of Gravette and William Elsea of Bentonville; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral is at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Callison-Lough Funeral Chapel of Gravette, with Brother Rick McElhannon officiating. Burial is in Daniel Cemetery.
Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Assembly of God in Gravette.
