David Richard Tuberville entered his heavenly home Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 5:15 A.M. He passed silently and quietly into eternity from his home in Camden, Arkansas. David was born in Chidester, Arkansas on August 15, 1929 to Jimmie and Thelma Sue Tuberville. He married his sweetheart, Billie Joyce Mosley Tuberville in December, 1950 and was deployed with the U. S. Army to Korea in 1951 where he proudly served his country until the conflict there ended. He returned home to his beautiful wife and went to work for the International Paper Company in 1953 and worked there for 25 years as a maintenance worker until his early retirement due to an accident. He was a member of Cullendale Assembly of God Church where he faithfully served as Deacon and Trustee, through many terms, from his membership in 1957. David loved Jesus and his family. He lived to love and be with his grands and to rock his great grands. If you knew him, you knew they were his pride and joy, because he was sure to tell you.
David is preceded in death by, his precious wife of nearly 64 years, Billie Joyce Tuberville, a daughter, Margaret Ann Tuberville, his parents, Jimmie and Thelma Sue Tuberville, and one sister, Emma Lee Johnson.
David is survived by, 2 children; his son, Richard Alan Tuberville and his wife, Jill, one daughter, Brenda Joyce Tuberville Truelove and her husband, Dennis all of Camden. 3 grandchildren; Stacy Marie Tuberville Briggs and her husband Matt, of Sherwood, Arkansas; Richard Alan Tuberville II (Rian) and his wife Brittan, of Pearland, Texas and Lauren Elizabeth Truelove Launius and her husband Brad, of Hot Springs, Arkansas. 4 great grandchildren; Laynee Elizabeth Truelove Launius, Liam David Tuberville, Layken Joy Truelove Launius and Skylar Noelle Tuberville, one brother; J. D. Tuberville, of Wascom, Texas and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him.
Family will visit with relatives and friends from 6:00-8:00 Friday, September 23, 2016 at Proctor Funeral Home. Services will be Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 2:00 Proctor's Chapel. Burial will be in Moss Hill Cemetery, in Bearden, Arkansas.
