Obituary
Carol Anderson, of Batesville, Arkansas died Friday, July 17, 2015 at White County Medical Center in Searcy. Ms. Anderson was 66 years old. She was the daughter of the late Loyd Burns and Ravie White Burns.
Ms. Carol worked thirty years at Townsends and retired from ConAgra, having worked there eight years. She enjoyed working in her yard and vegetable and flower gardening. She also enjoyed cooking for her family and was known for her beans and cornbread. Ms. Anderson was of the Assembly of God faith.
Ms. Anderson is survived 2 daughters: Kathern Anderson Fisher of Batesville, Arkansas and Shirley Anderson of Abilene, Texas; 2 sons: Steve Anderson of Batesville, Arkansas and Roy Lee Anderson of Pryor, Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren: Julie Butcher, John Nathan Gillmore, Natasha Newton, Ronnie Anderson, Carol Mae Hinson and Steven Anderson, Rebekka Anderson, William Anderson and Devon Gfeller, Annie Ballard and Jeanetta Anderson; 7 great-grandchildren: Brennan Butcher and Bailey Butcher, both of Batesville, C.J. Newton, Jewel Newton, Issac Newton and Lucas Newton, and Nataley Brokaw; 4 brothers: Harold Burns of Cave City, Arkansas, Roger Burns and Tom Burns, both of Batesville, Arkansas and J.R. Burns of Cushman, Arkansas; other relatives and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: LeeRoy Anderson; 1 brother: Danny Joe Burns; and 1 sister: Phyllis Burns Davis.
Funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at the Assembly of God Church in Cushman, Arkansas.
Bro. Carl Blankenship officiated the services.
Ms. Anderson was laid to rest at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Cushman, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were John Nathan Gillmore, Ronnie Anderson, Steven Anderson, Daniel Butcher, Darrell White and Daniel Aldrich.
Honorary pallbearers were Eddie Ray Burns, Jason Burns, Kenny Smith and William Anderson.
