Also, that of his first wife,

Emily Anderson, 47, of Cord died at her home on Wednesday, April 4, 2007. She was born May 5, 1959 in West Memphis and was the daughter of Charles Jackson and Ernestine Bullard Jackson.

Emily worked on the family farm driving tractors, helping her husband, and keeping the books for the farm. Farming was first and foremost with her, but during the slow season, she worked some at Strecker's Drug Store. She not only loved farming, but was a homemaker who loved to sew, can, and cook. She won many blue ribbons and championship awards at the county fair for her entries in canning, plants, and cross-stitching. Her favorite singer was Elvis Presley, but she also loved country music, especially Toby Keith. She enjoyed doing water aerobics with her friends. Emily loved to buy gifts for her family and friends and when she invited people over to dinner, she always cooked for them as if it were Thanksgiving dinner. She was a strong-willed person and when she did something (farming, cooking, etc.); she did it with much enthusiasm and joy. Emily also loved to deer hunt and did that with the same kind of gusto. She read her Bible daily and helped in the nursery at church.

Emily is survived by her husband, David Anderson of the home and two daughters and sons-in-law, Amanda and Bobby Dunehew of Cord and LeeAnn and Timothy A. Bullington of Vilonia. She is also survived her grandson, Samuel Dunehew and two brothers, Gene Jackson of Marion and Waylon Jackson of Hot Springs. Other survivors include three nephews, Nathan, Richard and Trevor Jackson and two nieces, Robin and Bethany Jackson.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a foster sister, Flo Ann Pearson.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Anderson, Greg Anderson, Kenny Gipson, Nathan Jackson, Chuck Osborne, and Andy Bullington.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Jackson, Trevor Jackson, Neil Price and Charles Osborne.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Cord Baptist Church with Jerry Kausler officiating.

Burial will follow at the Hopewell Cemetery in Cord.
