SPRINGDALE — Maureen Emerson, 67, of Springdale died Feb. 8, 2002, in Springdale. She was born July 6, 1934, in Mt. Carmel, Ill., to Harold Leon Sr, and Madeline Wheeler Dardeen.
She was retired from Harps Foods and a member of First United Methodist Church in Springdale.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Emerson; two sons, Richard J. Emerson and Robert C. Emerson Jr., both of Springdale; one daughter, Janet K. Emerson of Springdale; four grandchildren; one brother, Harold Dardeen of California; one sister, Pamela Dardeen of California.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale with the Rev. Charles Ashcroft officiating.
Burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m to 5 p.m Sunday.
Pallbearers will be Tony Baker, Rex Bailey, Randy Payne, Rick Clark, Denton Gay and Kenton Phillips.
Memorials may be made to the Washington Regional Hospice.
