Lengthy Illness
Proves Fatal to
Samuel Fancher

Samuel A. Fancher, 74, lifelong resident of near Kingston died at his home December 24 after a lengthy illness. Mr. Fancher was a well-known farmer and stockman in his community.

He was born January 25, 1878, the son of James P. Fancher and Mattie M. Wilkins Fancher.

Survivors include his wife of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Edith Eaton of Dardanelle, Ark.; flour sons, J.P. Fancher of Bell Gardens, Calif., Claud Fancher of Springdale, Robert Fancher of Huntington Park, Calif., and Roy Fancher of Hermiston, Ore.; three sisters, Mrs. Addie Pharris of Loy, Miss Kate Fancher of Kingston and Mrs. Jim Stevenson of Pryor, Okla.; two brothers, Lee Fancher of route 4, Huntsville and Grover Fancher of Loy; 23 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the American Legion hut in Kingston Friday, December 26 at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. Arnold Enez. burial was in the Kingston cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.

MRS. OLLIE FANCHER
Huntsville--Mrs. Ollie May Fancher, 85, of Huntsville, died Monday in the Huntsville Hospital. Born May 24, 1889 at Grayson, Ky., the daughter of James F. and Alice Forest Yates, she was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors are four sons, J.P. of Belle Gardens, Calif., Claude of Kingston, Robert os Southgate, Calif., and Roy of Corvallis, Ore.; one daughter, Mrs. Edith Eaton of Yakima, Wash., two sisters, Mrs. W.C. Sullivan of Buffalo, Wyo. and Mrs. S.W. Gutherie of Pawnee, Okla.; 30 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Brashears Funeral Chapel with burial in Kingston Cemetery.
