Lorene Watts age 73 years went to be home with the Lord on Sunday, March 11, 2007. She was born in Rock Springs, Arkansas to Berry and Ottie (Martin) Horton on September 6, 1933. She was a member of the Red Oak Freewill Baptist Church. She was proceded in death by her parents and 1 sister Pauline Collins. Surviviors include her husband AC Watts of 57 years, 2 sons: David and wife Judith and John Allen and wife Linda all of Marshall. 4 grandchildren: Ginger Watts, Melissa Echols, and Dwana Morrison all of Marshall and Lomery Allen Watts of Conway. 5 great-grandchildren: Britany Watts, Hayden Echols, Jaden, Jordan, and Jared Morrison all of Marshall. 1 brother Dorsey and wife Helen Horton of Rock Springs and a host of relatives and friends. Services are Thursday, March 15, 2007 at 2 pm in the Roller Coffman Chapel with David Watts, Bob Chronister, and Alan Yarbrough officiating. Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens by Roller Coffman Funeral Home of Marshall. Pallbearers Lomery Watts, Doug Morrison, Brandon Echols, Jared Horton, Brandon Horton and Jason Yarbrough. Honoray pallbearers Fred Johnson, Jerry Passmore, Dan Owens, Jordan and Jared Morrison, and Hayden Echols.

Albert Clammy (A.C.) Watts, age 80 years, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 26, 2010.

He was born eight miles east of Marshall in the community of Rock Springs, Arkansas to Lowery and Cora Cypert Watts on January 23, 1930.

He was a member of the Red Oak Freewill Baptist Church and served as a deacon for forty-two years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of fifty-seven years, Lorene Horton Watts.

A.C. graduated from Marshall High School in 1947 and then taught school at Thola and Rock Creek, Arkansas. He logged and raised strawberries and then worked for Tulsa Linen in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He also worked for Caterpillar in Peoria, Illinois, and dry walled in Indiana and Missouri. When he returned to Marshall, he ran a service station and started in the auto parts business running routes in November 1959. He owned and operated Watts Auto Supply until he retired in 2004.

Survivors include two sons; David Watts and wife Judith; John Allen Watts and wife Linda all of Marshall. He has four grandchildren; Ginger Watts, Melissa Echols, and Dana Morrison, all of Marshall, Lowery Allen Watts of Conway, also five great-grandchildren; Britany Hoyt, Hayden Echols, Jade Morrison, Jordan Morrison and Jared Morrison, all of Marshall. One brother Leviathan Watts of Marshall also survives, along with two sisters; Newhaven Bohannon and Vilene Ferguson, both of Marshall and a host of relatives and friends.

His service was held at Roller Coffman Chapel with Bro. David Watts officiating. Burial was in Marshall Memorial Gardens.
