Barbara Hardesty Scrivner Wallace, 77, of Armorel, Arkansas, passed from this life Monday, December 29, 2014 at her home.

She was born in Armorel, Arkansas, to John George and Lorene (Hulsey) Hardesty, and was an area resident most of her life.

Mrs. Wallace was a former daycare operator, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She attended Mary's Chapel Baptist Church. She had a strong faith and loved to share it with everyone she came in contact with. According to her family, she was a prayer warrior. She prayed and read her Bible daily. Barbara was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved to garden and work in her yard, crochet, and quilt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a husband, Billy Joe Scrivner, and three brothers, Vernon Hardesty, Woodrow Hardesty and Billy Joe Hardesty.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Wallace of Armorel; her children, Paula Darling of Galesburg, Illinois, Lisa Safstrom and Richard of Mt. Prospect, Illinois, Bill Scrivner Jr. and Tricia of Manila, Tom Scrivner of Osceola, Wren Stout and Sue of Ripley, Tennessee, Tim Stout and Teresa of Armorel, Roberta Colee of Jackson, Tennessee, Mary Eary and Ron of Batesville, Arkansas, and Edwin Wallace of Armorel; two brothers, James Hardesty of Columbus, Nebraska and Charles Hardesty of Blytheville; 24 grand-children and 11 great grand-children.

Funeral services were at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
