Jesse Lee Cummings' wife's name, Elvie May Cummings appears on the double stone along with his name, but no death date for her. Presumably, Elvie moved to Illinois sometime following Jesse's death. Elvie's death record shows her birth date was October 13, 1897 and she died on June 07, 1981 in Belleville, St. Clair County, IL. She is buried in Valhalla Gardens of Memory and Mausoleum in St. Clair County.
