Mrs. Faye Cummings, 83, of Grubbs, died Friday Sept 21, 2001 in Newport. She was born Oct. 21, 1918 in Grubbs, the daughter of W.A. and Pearl (Brandon) Odglen. Mrs. Cummings was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church in Grubbs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dee Cummings in 1978, two brothers, Edgar Odglen and Virgil Odglen; and one sister, Edith Blagg.
Mrs. Cummings is survived by one sister, Alma Rogers of Grubbs, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Grubbs with Bro. Ulysss Mandermolen and Bro. Larry Miles officiating. Interment was in Ballews Chapel Cemetry in Grubbs.
Pallbearers were Buddy Blagg, Billy Blagg, Lynn Odglen, Jim Rogers, Glen Odglen, H.M. Williamson, Perry Odglen and Danny Blagg.
