Della Juanita Deen, 83, of Blytheville, AR., passed from this life Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR.

Born in Dermott, AR., to Gus Valentine and Mattie Leliah Chancellar Eberdt.

She retired from Blytheville Federal Savings and Loan and was a member of 13th and Main St. Church of Christ. Della was a member of Cotton Belles Extension Homemakers Club. She loved to be with her family and she loved to sing. She enjoyed attending church and singing Praises to God with the other members of the congregation led by Bruce Daniels or Mike Parrish. She was a great wife, mother and loving grandmother to 18 grand-children and 21 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Faith Schmidt Williams; sister, Betty McDonal and daughter in law, Kathy Emery Schmidt.

Della is survived by her husband, of 42½ years, Travis Deen of the home; her loving sons, Gus Lynn Schmidt Sr. and Thomas Schmidt and wife, Kim, all of Jackson, MO and Patrick J. Schmidt and wife, Leslie of Reno, NV; sister, Ethel Mae Van Cleve of West Memphis, AR; son in law, Ronald Williams of Jonesboro, AR; sister in law, Joyce Deen of Marion, AR and her loving stepsons, Wayne Deen and wife, Gail of Ballwin, MO and Gary Deen of Blytheville, AR.

Funeral services were in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
