MRS. GERTRUDE SOOTER
Mrs. Gertrude Sooter, 80, Gravette, died Dec. 27 in Gravette Medical Center. Born Nov. 25, 1894, in Benton County, she was the daughter of John Solomon and Nellie Knott Cash and a member of United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, the Rev. Rogers E. Sooter, Maywood, Calif., and Dr. Edwin Sooter, Richardson, Tex.; four daughters, Mrs. Homer Long and Miss Betty Sooter, Gravette, Mrs. Nadine Font, Ionia, Mich., and Mrs. Jane Reynolds, Lawson, Mo.; three brothers, Harlan Cash, Kansas City, Kan., Carson D. Cash, Philadelphia, Pa., and Lowell Cash, Gravette; four, sisters, Mrs. Hazel Rogers, Buffalo, Okla., Mrs. Orie Burrow, Van Buren, Mrs. Gladys Heirholzer, Banning, Calif., and Mrs. Vona Yeargin, Sacramento, Calif.; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held today at 3 p.m. in Gravette United Methodist Church with the Rev. Sherman Waters officiating. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Callison-McKinney of Gravette.
