ROGERS - William Russell Sooter, 82, of Rogers died May 26, 1999, at Kellmark Nursing Home in Rogers. He was born Aug. 20, 1916, in Gravette to George H. and Eva True Sooter Luker. He was employed by Linkway Furniture in Rogers and was a member of Rogers Baptist Church. He was a life resident of Benton County.
Survivors include one son, William Harold "Bill" Sooter of Colcord, Okla.; one daughter; Patricia Ramsey of Parthenon; one Brother, Donald Sooter of Rogers; five sisters, Louise Harris, Alma Brown and Reba Murphy, all of Rogers, Vivian Dean of Pea Ridge and Roena Hickman of Haynesville, La.; four grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Rogers Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Potts officiating.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon today at Burns Funeral Home in Rogers.
