Wilbert R. Gosser, 77, of Mountain View, AR entered into rest on Monday July 19, 2010 in Mountain View. Wilbert was born on March 29, 1933 in Fifty Six, AR to Malachi and Nancy Eastham Gosser.

Wilbert was retired from General Motors assembly line and was proud of the fact that he built and drove Chevrolets. He attended Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time in his garden and playing music on his guitar. Wilbert was most proud of his family and loved and cherished his children, grand children and great-grand children.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline Stevens Gosser of the home; daughters, Phyllis Gosser of Mtn. View and Janice Martin and husband Darvin of Onia; sons, Larry Gosser and wife Betty and Roger Gosser and wife Julie all of Mountain View; sisters, Hazel Pierce of Smithville, AR and Lorene Mize of Waldron, AR; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Malachi and Nancy Gosser; son, Steve Gosser; sisters, Lucy Pitts and Ruby Reed; and brothers, Daniel, Kenneth, Robert and Carthal Gosser.

Visitation will be on Wednesday July 21, 2010 at Timbo Valley Assembly of God in Timbo, AR from 6 – 8 PM.

Funeral service will be on Thursday July 22, 2010 at Timbo Valley Assembly of God in Timbo, AR at 10 AM with Bro. David Campbell officiating.

Pallbearers will be Dwayne Gosser, Keith Martin, Rick Van Evera, Grant Stevens, Jeff McCord and Norman Copeland. Honorary Pallbearers are Brady Johnson, Scott Ramsey, Eric Miller, Stanley Duncan and Mitchell Meaders. Burial will be in Fifty Six Cemetery in Fifty Six, AR.

Pauline (Polly) Stevens Gosser, 82, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on January 23, 2018. Polly was born in Marianna, Arkansas on March 1, 1935 to Tib and Hazel Stevens. They moved to Manila, Arkansas when she was six years old where she grew up and met Wilbert Gosser in 1950. Polly and Wilbert married on October 12, 1951. The two moved to Mountain View, Arkansas where they made their home. Polly is survived by four children Phyllis Gosser, Larry Gosser, Janice Martin and Roger Gosser all of Mountain View, Arkansas; one brother, Curt Stevens of Harrisburg, Arkansas; five sisters, Lavern Morgan of Caraway, Arkansas, Lavon Martin of Caraway, Arkansas, Carolyn Gosser of Mountain View, Arkansas, Kathy Jones of Judsonia, Arkansas, Roxie Stevens of Lake City, Arkansas; one beloved best friend Sandy Thronson of Flint, Michigan; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Polly was preceded in death by her cherished husband Wilbert Gosser and one beloved son, Steve Gosser; three sisters, Gene Duncan, Wilma Randolph, and Minnie Still; and one brother Butch Stevens. Visitation is Friday, January 26, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Timbo Valley Assembly of God Church in Timbo, Arkansas. The funeral service will follow the visitation on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 2:00 PM, also at Timbo Valley Assembly of God Church with Brother David Campbell officiating. Pallbearers are Keith Martin, Dwayne Gosser, Jeff McCord, Brady Johnson, Scott Ramsey, and Rob DeWar. Honorary pallbearers are Grant Stevens, Bobby Day, Stanley Duncan, and Gary Duncan. Roller Coffman Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
