Milburn Ray Chumley, 86, of Judsonia went to be with the lord on Friday, March 2, 2007. He was born to Algar and Carrie Jackson Chumley at Kensett, Arkansas on February 7, 1921. He was a retired lineman from First Electric Corp. in Jacksonville, AR. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was saved and baptized by Wayne Ruff, pastor of the Baptist Church in Judsonia, AR. He was well known for being an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Mae Bland Chumley, one brother Woodrow Chumley of Bald Knob. He is survived by his sister, Juanita Leonard of Bald Knob, sister-in-law Mary Chumley of Bald Knob, two sons, Donald Ray and wife Donna Chumley of Clinton, Neal and wife Carolyn Chumley of Searcy, two daughters JoAnn and husband Jimmie Nixon of Lancaster, Ky., and Gail and husband Larry Hulsey of Judsonia, and 14 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grand Children, and lots of nieces and nephews and so many friends.
Services Monday March 5, 2007 at Powell Chapel with visitation on Sunday 4 to 7 PM. Arrangements by Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
