Opal Lee Voyles, 105, passed away at her home in Advance, Indiana with family by her side on Monday, June 15, 2020. She was born January 25, 1915 in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Will and Gracie (Brennan) Harris.
She was married to Ted Bo Voyles in Pleasant Plains. He preceded her in death in 1992.
For many years, she worked as an LPN, dedicated her time caring for others. In 2019 she moved to Advance, Indiana to be near family.
Opal loved her family and was devoted to her husband, her daughters, and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening.
Survivors include:

Doug (Alice) Pierce of Deer Creek, Indiana
Greg McLaughlin of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas

Kayle (Karla) Funkhouser of Avon, Indiana
Kelly Gulhey of Indianapolis
Sixteen Great grandchildren
Nineteen great-great grandchildren
In addition to her parents and her husband, Opal was preceded in death by her four daughters, Joyce McLaughlin, Carolyn Funkhouser, Noba Ann Voyles and Helen Janice Pierce; three sisters; and two brothers.
Private Family Viewing will be held at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon, Indiana.
Funeral services will take place at a later date at Pleasant Plains United Methodist Church in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas with burial at Putnam Cemetery.
