Louie Grafton Coley, 64, of 107 Chula Vista Drive, died Friday at a local hospital following a brief illness. He was born at Union Church, Miss., July 17, 1906, the son of James E. and Temperance Garrett Coley. He had been a resident of El Dorado since 1921 and had been an employe of Monsanto Chemical Co. for the past 34 years. He was a member of the West Side Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Eva Holmes Coley, El Dorado; a son, Lt. Col. James B. Coley, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C.; and four brothers, John A. Coley, James E. Coley, Jr., Lamar Coley and Emmett R. Coley, all of El Dorado; and two grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Rumph Mortuary. (El Dorado Times - January 30, 1971)
