July 29, 1936 - December 19, 1969
Don Edward Coley, 33, of Baton Rouge, La., drowned Friday at 10:10 a.m. near Baton Rouge on a hunting expedition. He was a former resident of El Dorado. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Wanda Lee Normand Coley; two daughters, Miss Mignon Coley and Cherie Coley, both of Baton Rouge; a sister, Mrs. Patricia Jackson, St. Louis, Mo.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. Lamar Coley, El Dorado; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Nolen, El Dorado. Funeral services will be held Sunday at the Rumph Mortuary Chapel at 2 p.m. (El Dorado Times - December 20, 1969)
