Betty Sue Roberts, 84, of El Dorado, passed away, Thursday, January 11, 2018, in Little Rock, AR. She was born January 11, 1934, to Gus and Ozella Hemphill Barker in Smackover, AR.
She was retired from J.C. Penney, where she worked as manager in the Catalog Department. Betty was of the Presbyterian Faith.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Donald Edward Roberts; daughter, Linda G. Bell; and several sisters and brothers.
Survivors include two sisters, Francis Barker of Texas, Norma Jean Rogers of Little Rock; two grandsons, Cody Bell, Chris Bell (Stephanie); son-in-law, Steve Bell all of El Dorado; three great grandchildren, Essence Tate, Martial Tchimou, Ja’Keyson Bell, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2018, at Young’s Chapel with Rev. David Rials officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
