William Thomas Roberts, of Smackover, died Sunday afternoon of a heart attack. He was born August 25, 1900 in Baton Rouge, La. He was a retired employe of the magnolia Petroleum Co. and had been a resident of Smackover since 1928. He was a member of the First Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, Donald Roberts, of El Dorado; one daughter, Mrs. Arvis Fowler of Atlanta, Ga., one brother, Hock Roberts of Amit, La.; two sisters, Mrs. C. D. Mulkey and Mrs. Harold Root, both of Baton Rouge, and two granddaughters. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Young's Mortuary. (El Dorado Daily News - May 15, 1967)
