When Virginia Ann Epes was born on September 24, 1912, in Little Rock, Arkansas, her father, Archibald, was 30, and her mother, Grace, was 22. She married William Clyde Burkett on December 26, 1937. She died on August 26, 1994, in Searcy, Arkansas, at the age of 81, and was buried there.
