Mrs. Ella Mae Jackson, 91, of Crossett died Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at the Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett. Mrs. Jackson was a native of Montrose; a resident of Crossett for the past 25 years and a former resident of Montrose for many years. She was a homemaker and a farmer's wife and a member of the Montrose Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Coy Daniel Jackson in 1983; her parents, John Henry & Mamie Blount Rice; three brothers, Carroll, Carl and Bobby Joe (Bo) Rice and a sister, Ethel Burgess.

She is survived by three sons, Herman Jackson and wife, Sharon, of Crossett; Ralph Jackson and wife, Brenda, of Trafalgar and Byron Dale Jackson and wife, Judy, of Crossett; a daughter, Opal Davis and husband, John, of Hot Springs; two sisters, Corelene Satterfield of Dumas and Rosie Spencer of Hamburg; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2009 in the chapel of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Bates and Rev. Tim Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Trafalgar Cemetery. Pallbearers are Coy Davis, Michael Davis, Zachary Jackson, Scott Stephenson, Burt Jackson, Tyler Thompson, Hunter Thompson, Blake Laing and Jason McDougald. Memorials may be made to the Trafalgar Cemetery Association, c/o Mr. Ben Lawrence, 859 Ashley 105 Road, Montrose, AR 71658.
