FORT SMITH — Larry Don Stockburger, 61 of Fort Smith, Ark., passed away on Monday, Feb. 6, 2012 in a local hospital.

He was born Oct 24, 1950, in Fayetteville, Ark. He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle Stockburger and Mary Winn Stockburger; and by his nephew, Jeff Hatwig of Fort Smith, Ark.

Graveside services are 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at West Fork Cemetery officiated by Rev. Randy Burris. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith. There will be no viewing or visitation.

He is survived by his sister, Gale Hatwig and her husband Wilfred, and one brother Jerry Stockburger and his wife Reba, all of Fort Smith, Ark.; a nephew, Mark Hatwig of Fayetteville, Ark.; a niece, Stephanie Cline and her husband Keith; three great-nieces, Jordan Hatwig, and Kaitlyn and Haley Cline, and a great-nephew, Cole Hatwig, all of Fort Smith, Ark.

Following the service the family will visit with friends and family at the home of Mark Hatwig at -- in Fayetteville. Memorials may be made to either St. Jude's Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, Tenn. 38148-0142, or to the West Fork Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 127, West Fork, Ark. 72774. Online tributes may be made to www.ockerputmanfuneralhome.com.
