FAYETTEVILLE — Eric Duane Stockburger, age 49, of Fayetteville died Saturday, July 26, 2014, in Fayetteville. He was born July 5, 1965, in Fayetteville, the son of Lloyd and Lewana Sue Thomas Stockburger.
He was preceded in death by his father; his maternal grandmother, Effie Thomas; and a nephew, Blake Stockburger.
He was owner and operator of Eric's Specialized Services, lawn care and handyman specialist. He enjoyed biking, speed skating and was in cross country at Fayetteville High School. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, barbecuing and was a selftaught mechanic. He was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
He is survived by a son, Caleb Stockburger of Fayetteville; his mother, Sue Stockburger of Fayetteville; a sister, Tanja Pearson and her husband, Don, of Fort Smith; a brother, Eddie Stockburger and his wife, Christie, of Fayetteville; a niece, Misty Ford and her husband, David; and two nephews, Timothy Stockburger and Keith Stockburger.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Four South and CCU at Washington Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at Moore's Chapel.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Moore's Chapel, followed by entombment at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
