When Oliver Houston BAILEY was born on November 14, 1907, in West Point, Arkansas, his father, Silas, was 82 and his mother, Mary, was 47. He married Omia Ferren BAILEY on August 11, 1928, in White, Arkansas. They had four children during their marriage. He died on February 21, 1991, in Orange, Florida, at the age of 83, and was buried in Searcy, Arkansas.

When Omia Ferren BAILEY was born on August 25, 1909, in Kensett, Arkansas, her father, Francis, was 30, and her mother, Minnie, was 26. She married Oliver Houston BAILEY on August 11, 1928, in White, Arkansas. They had four children during their marriage. She died on December 11, 1986, in Memphis, Tennessee, at the age of 77, and was buried in Searcy, Arkansas.
