Boyce Dean Turner, 72, of Bradford, departed this life November 6, 2016. Boyce was born June 30, 1944 the son of Owen and Gladys (Guffie) Turner. He was of the Baptist faith, an avid coon hunter and loved his family very much. He also was a United States Army Veteran.
Boyce is survived by his wife, Katherine; two sons, Keith Turner (Fe) of Plumerville and Matthew Turner (Charlotte) of Bald Knob; a daughter, Angie Toddy (Carroll) of Bradford; 4 grandsons, Dustin, Levi, Austin and Nate Turner; 3 great-grandsons, Kayden, Waylon and Houston Turner; Brenda Jackson, his former wife and mother of his children; two brothers, Charles Turner and Frank Turner of Bradford; sister, Pauline Raines of Grubbs and a host of nieces and nephews.
Boyce is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Roy, Eugene and Jim Turner; 2 sisters, Burnis Eades and Martha Traywick; 5 infant siblings and his infant twin brother, Royce Turner.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob. Services will be conducted Wednesday, November 9, 2016, 2:00 p.m., at the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Bradford. Interment will follow in the Smith Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia.
