Ms. Kathy Jean Turner, 49, of Jonesboro departed this life on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born on January 30, 1961 in Tampa, Flordia, the daughter of Paul and Georgia (Seelye) Turner. Ms. Turner was a Social Worker for Consolidated Youth Services. She enjoyed collecting antiques.
She leaves behind her parents, Paul and Georgia Turner of Pleasant Plains; one brother, David Turner of Pleasant Plains; three sisters, Barbara Prendergast of Kernersville, North Carolina, Brenda Sample and Dawn Southern both of Pleasant Plains; two nieces, Erin Prendergast and Ashley Turner; five nephews, Peter Prendergast, Jr., Shelby Sample, Andrew Southern, Justin Southern and Cody Southern.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 22, 2010 at Dillinger Chapel.
Burial will be in Watson Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday, November 21, 2010.
