Betty Ruth Parker-Russell-McCready, 79 of Pocola, Oklahoma formerly of Ozark, Arkansas died Saturday, February 16, 2019 in Pocola. She was a homemaker, Truck driver, and of the Christian faith. She was born January 29, 1940 in Ozark to Alex and Rena June McMillan Parker. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jacky Parker; two sisters, Sarah Parker and Wanda Billings; and two brothers, Leon and Herman Parker.
Ruth is survived by four sons, Bill Russell of Columbus, Indiana, Jerry Russell of Ozark, Ray Russell of Pocola, Oklahoma, and Darrell Russell of Bonanza, Arkansas; two sisters, Bonnie Sanders of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Ruby Johnson of Clarksville, Arkansas; a brother, Jerry Parker of Ozark; and six grandchildren.
Family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday, February 21st at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 West Commercial Street in Ozark.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, February 22, 2019 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel and burial at Jackson Cemetery under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark. Serving as pallbearers are her Sons, Bill, Jerry, Ray, and Darrell Russell, Joe Crabtree, and Fred Russell.
