Clarence E. Parker, 87, of Mountainburg, Arkansas, died Friday, February 14, 2014 in Van Buren, Arkansas.
He was born June 12, 1926 in Frazier, Arkansas to Milford and Martha Mounce Parker.
He was a member and treasurer of Mountainburg First Baptist Church. He served in the Navy and was a retired claims agent and employee of Union Pacific.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Doyle Parker.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marjorie Wann Parker, of Mountainburg; one son, Tommy Allen Parker and wife Vicki of Sherman, Texas; a daughter, Beverly Ballagh and husband Gary of Ada, Oklahoma; two sisters, Lois Kelly and Bernadean Patrick, both of Ozark. Six grandchildren; Samantha and Eric Anderson of Bella Vista, Arkansas; Blair White of Dallas, Texas; Hunter Parker of Sherman, Texas; Garet Ballagh and wife, Amy, Ashlen Ballagh, and Jaron Ballagh, all of Ada, Oklahoma. Six great-grandchildren; Gavin and Gia Ballagh of Ada, Oklahoma; Magnus, Emerson, and Gracie Anderson of Bella Vista, Arkansas; and Stella White of Dallas, Texas.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, February 17, 2014 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Larry Horne officiating. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
The family with visit with friends from 2:00-4:00 PM, Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Shaffer Funeral Home, 2315 W. Commercial in Ozark.
Pallbearers will be Gary, Garet, and Jaron Ballagh, Eric Anderson, Richard Mirus, and James Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Mountainburg First Baptist Church.
