Obituary
Joyce Naomi Corter, 83, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Highlands of Mountain View. Naomi was born on March 28, 1933 to the late William Grover and Ona Alice (Copeland) Stewart in Cotter, Arkansas. Naomi was a member of Levisy Flat Christian Fellowship Church and worked for many years at the shirt factory and as a seamstress. Naomi will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.

Naomi is survived by two sons, Danny Corter and wife Jan of Mountain View, Arkansas and Billy Corter and wife Jennifer of Cave City, Arkansas; one daughter, Darlene Avey and husband Rick of Big Springs, Arkansas; one sister, Alice Shelor of Kansas City, Missouri; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.

Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, William Grover and Ona Alice (Copeland) Stewart; husband, William Corter; one daughter, Bonnie Jean Corter; three brothers, one sister, and one great-grandson.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2016, from 6-8PM at Roller Coffman Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services will take place on Monday, July 18, 2016. 10:00AM also at Roller Coffman Chapel with Brother Steven Martin and Brother Allen Cartwright officiating. Interment will be at Levisy Flat Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Matt Avey, Chris Corter, Bryar Avey, Landen Corter, Dalton Corter, and Bobby Munoz. Honorary pallbearers are Allen Wroblewski, Dr. James Zini, Staff of Highlands at Mountain View, and her nieces and nephews.

Roller Coffman Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
