Murliene Holder, age 82 of Batesville died Friday, February 26, 2010 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born March 10, 1927 at Union Hill, Arkansas to Early and Rosetta Freeman Gass. She was retired from White Rodgers in Batesville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jesse Holder, one son, Wayne Holder and one brother Earl Gass.

Survivors include two sons, Ronnie Holder of Batesville and Bobby Holder of Beebe, two daughters, Jane Vanpool of Wilmington, Illinois and Diane Payne of Kingsland, Georgia, one sister, Sue Wheeler of Pleasant Plains, eleven grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will begin Monday, March 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel located in Batesville. Burial will follow in the McMullin Cemetery located at Pleasant Plains with arrangements by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.

Visitation will begin Sunday, February 28, 2010 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
