WEST FORK — Patsy Sue Ashley, age 81, of West Fork, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019, in Fayetteville. She was born April 26, 1937, in Clinton, Ark., the daughter of William and Della Carroll Bates.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jeffrey Ashley; and two brothers, Billy Bates and Don Bates.
She was an employee of Walmart for 30 years.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, John Ashley; three sons, Russell Ashley and his wife Kimberly of Newton, Iowa, John Ashley and his wife Kathy of Hampshire, Ill., and David Ashley of Island Lake, Ill.; a daughter-in-law, Shannon Ashley Collins of Rogers, Ark.; three sisters, Myrna Wise of Green Forest, Ark., Dianna McCurdy of West Fork and Louise Vaught of West Fork; a brother, Dennis Bates of Winslow, Ark.; five grandchildren, Nicole Herrera, Johnny Ashley, Jeremiah Ashley, Andrew Ashley and Jesse Ashley; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 10 a.m.-11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019, at Moore's Chapel followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in West Fork Cemetery.
