SIKESTON, Mo. — Luther Junior McClure, 80, of Sikeston, Mo., passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born Feb. 4, 1938, in Formosa, Ark., to Luther Conway and Thelma Pearl Shipley McClure.

Luther was an auto body repairman and was retired from the Arkansas Army National Guard. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed rock work, gardening, barbecuing and entertaining his family and friends with his guitar.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two wives, Judy Kay and Pauline Mae Copeland McClure; one son, Mark Conway McClure; two granddaughters, Molly and Jamie McClure; four brothers, Weldon, Gene, Carl and Bill McClure and one sister, Lucille Mabry.

Survivors include three sons, Dennis McClure of Kansas, James McClure and wife Michelle and David McClure and wife Mary Beth, all of Springdale; three daughters, Paula McClure Taylor of Missouri, Amanda McKee and husband Dalton of Mississippi and Jacqueline Brewer and husband Eric of Springdale; one stepdaughter, Sheenetta Goss and husband Kevin of Hindsville; one brother, Orvan McClure of Morrilton, Ark.; five sisters, Ruby Greene of Choctaw, Ark., Oweda Crum of Illinois, Margaret Dowdy and husband Larry of Missouri, Shirley Tesreau and husband Jerry of Illinois and Patricia Risenhoover and husband Ronnie of Texas; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Brother Dalton McKee officiating. Burial will follow in Burkshed Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

SPIRO, Okla. — Judy Kay McClure, 67, of Spiro, Okla., passed away Thursday June 4, 2015, at the Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Judy was born on Feb. 17, 1948, in Huntsville, Ark., a daughter of Raymond Wilson and Sara Abigail "Gail" Marshall Wilson.

Judy was a cosmetologist for many years, loved fishing, gardening, doing yard work and playing games.

She is survived by her husband, L.J. McClure of Spiro, Okla.; her mother, Gail Wilson of Huntsville, Ark.; two sons, James McClure of Springdale, Ark, and David McClure of Fayetteville, Ark; four daughters, Paula Taylor of Sikeston, Mo., Amanda McKee of Union, Miss., Jacqueline Brewer of Springdale, Ark. and Sheenetta Goss of Hindsville, Ark.; three brothers, Jerry and Jack Wilson of Huntsville, Ark. and John Wilson of Green Forrest, Ark.; one sister, Jimmie Wilson of Springdale, Ark.; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond and one son, Mark McClure.

Graveside Services will he held on Saturday, June 6, 2015, at 2 p.m. at the Burkshed Cemetery near Hindsville, Ark. Pastor Charles Bell will officiate the service under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale. To sign the online guest book visit www.Backstrom-Pyeatte.com.
