Obituary:
Louise Moseley Corker age 80 of Monticello, AR formerly of Dumas and Johnsville, AR died Monday, February 3rd at the Drew Memorial Hospital. She was born January 7th 1934 in Rock Springs, AR (Drew County), a daughter of the late Preston Moseley and Thelma Wolfe Moseley. She was a bookkeeper for many years, was a housewife, homemaker and a member of Pauline Baptist Church. Mrs. Corker was very proud of being the oldest person to complete Faith training at Pauline Baptist Church and go spread Christian witness with the church group to people in the area. Also preceding her in death was her husband James L. Corker whom she married December 24, 1950 and he died March 23rd 2007. Survivors include 2 sons, James R. Corker and spouse Deborah, White Hall, AR and Gary Lynn Corker and spouse Rosileia, Santos Sao Paulo, Brazil. 2 daughters Sandra Norris, Monticello, AR and Charlotte Hughes and spouse Jim, Benton, AR. A sister Claudine Stedman, Warren, AR. 10 grandchildren Bo Norris, Brandy Hampton, Lindsay Hillyard, Chris Hughes, Brian Hughes, Amanda Winter, Jennifer Harrison, Stephanie Phillips, Leticia Correia and Vanessa Correia. 4 great-grandchildren Coltin Hampton, Eli Hampton, Tebow Hampton, Madison Norris, Tristian Harrison and Nathaniel Winter. Funeral services were 10:00AM Saturday, February 8th at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Chad Graves, Rev. Tommy Lanthrip and Rev. Gary Corker officiating. Linda Barrett was organist and soloist was Robert Leonard. Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Bo Norris, Chris Hughes, Brian Hughes, Randy Hillyard, Doug Hampton and Coltin Hampton.
