Mrs. Maysel Ray Norwood, 72, of Conway died Thursday (March 19, 1998) at UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock.
Born Jan. 10, 1926, in Mount Vernon, daughter of Esther Tackett Ray of Conway and the late Homer D. Ray, she was the widow of Roger Norwood, a retired senior vice president at First National Bank where she worked for 45 years. She was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons and Eastside Baptist Church.
Other survivors are two brothers, Kenneth D. Ray and Glyndal Ray, both of Conway; and a sister, Betty Ray Graham of Benton.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with the Rev. Brad Hoshaw officiating. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Steve Ray, Stanley Ray, Lewis Graham, Darren George, Ray Gunter, Ronnie Seymore and David Kordsmeier.
Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
