Delbert Ray Norwood, 47, of Conway, died Sunday, November 28, 2010. He was born February 21, 1963 in Marianna, Arkansas. He was a forklift operator for Cedar Creek Wholesale and attended the Church of God. He had a very intimate relationship with the Lord and enjoyed tinkering on small engines and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Norwood; daughter, Christy Solis of Conway; step-sons, Johnny Martin, Jr. of Augusta and Thomas Martin of Conway; mother, Annie Norwood of Conway; brothers, Albert Norwood of Patterson and Robert Norwood of Conway; sisters, Mary F. Norwood of Clarendon, Alice A. Norwood and Betty Edwards both of Conway, Martha Jane Jackson of Clarendon and Christina Norwood of McRae; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Norwood; 3 brothers, Melvin, Jodie and R.G. Norwood. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Services will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Roller-McNutt Chapel with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob-Judsonia & Searcy.
