ERVIN LEROY AMOS 73 of Kansas, OK passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015 in Grove, OK. Ervin was born October 4, 1941 in Delaware County, OK; he was the son of Frank and Estelle Amos.
After high school Ervin honorably served his country in the United States Army. He married his wife Pat on July 13, 1994 in Siloam Springs, AR . Ervin retired after 30 plus years as a machinist for the Hughes Anderson Engineering Corporation. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Ervin was a hard worker and liked to build different things and fish and gather with his family and friends. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Colcord, Ok.

Ervin is also survived numerous nieces and nephews and loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Francis Amos, a sister and brother-in-law Betty & Harold Hughes, son Jason Shackelford, sister-in-law Mary Amos and a brother son-in-law Elbert Guss.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 from 5pm to 8pm. The funeral will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel in Siloam Springs, AR on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 10:00 am. Pastor Mark Sherrell will officiate the service.
Burial will be held at Dickson Cemetery in Cherokee City, AR under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, AR.
