July 19, 1935 - May 2, 2001
Donald Eugene Curtis, 65, of Damascus died Wednesday (May 2, 2001) at his home. Born July 19, 1935, in Mayflower, a son of Jeff Curtis and Mary Garrison, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked as a dry cleaner. He is survived by a sister, Ethel Bishop of Conway; a brother, Novis Curtis of Damascus; a son, Don Curtis of Guy; two daughters, Jenna Curtis of Houston, Ark., and Claudia Curtis of Conway; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Roller-McNutt Chapel in Conway. Pallbearers will be Carma Gene Varner, Jimmy Curtis, Randell Casey, Mike Keathley, Louie Bishop and Jason McDougal. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
