Sarah Ann Curtis, age 56, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away Monday, April 7, 2008. She was born October 28, 1951, in Little Rock, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Grace Fielder Shumate. She was a homemaker and member of Portland Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband Ronnie Curtis of Morrilton; son, Brad Curtis and wife Jennifer of Morrilton; daughter, Christy Garrett and husband Chris of Plumerville; father and step-mother, Bob and Ann Shumate of Morrilton; brother, David Shumate of Little Rock; sister, Elaine Hankins and husband Dewey of Barling; step-sister, Sandra Holman and husband David of Solgohachia; step-sister-in-law, Karen Welcher of Conway; grandchildren, Forrest, Braydan, Blake, and Chad.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 10, 2008, at McNew Cemetery at Greenbrier, with Bro. Lindy Davis officiating.

Ronnie D. Curtis, 68, of Conway went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 18, 2019. He was born September 26, 1950 in Humphrey, AR to the late Richard and Dollie W. (Brewer) Curtis. Ronnie was also preceded in death by his brother, Willoby Curtis and sister, Evelyn Paul.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of nine years, Charlotte Curtis, his son, Brad Curtis (Ashley) of Plumerville, Stepson, Kelly Hinkson (Marcie) of Little Rock, daughter, Christy Garrett (Chris) of Plumerville, and stepdaughter, Duchess Esser (Greg) of Conway, three brothers, Roy Curtis (Barbara) of North Little Rock, Huel Curtis of Jacksonville, and Buel Curtis (Glenda) of Fayetteville, one sister, Patsy Hawkins (James) of Tillar, AR, 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandaughter, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Ronnie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Russellville and a veteran of the United States Army. He served during the Vietnam Conflict and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was employed as a District Manager with Terminix Pest Control. Ronnie was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and traveling. He was a super-duper handyman who also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Ronnie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
