Climie Casey Curtis, 79, of Damascus went to be with Jesus after a six year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born May 19, 1932 in Enola, Arkansas to the late Rufus & Bessie Phillips Casey. So happily reunited with her childhood sweetheart she lived a full life of love & laughter. She loved to brag about her large family which consisted of thirteen brothers & sisters. She was a compassionate & loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, & friend. Her smile & her laughter were highly contagious. She retired from AT&T Teletype after 28 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Quention, Elwood & Norwood Casey. Two sisters Ruby Kliemchen & Ollie Merle Casey.
She is survived by her husband, Novis Curtis. One son, David Brinkley of Conway. Six sisters, Mildred Archer of Berrien Springs, Michigan; Carma Moore of Berrien Springs, Michigan; Hazel Fairchild of North Little Rock; Margie Widner of Doniphan, Missouri; Norma Jane Varner of Vilonia; &Jewell Quesnel of Sherwood. Three brothers, Faber Casey of Salem, Arkansas, Russell Casey of La Porte, Indiana & Randell Casey of Vilonia. One granddaughter, Ashton. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, & cousins who will also greatly miss her & her great joy.
