Imogene Faye Griggs Stowers Lucy, daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Griggs and Georgia A. Sullins Griggs, was born December 8, 1945 in Dolph, Arkansas. She departed this life June 13, 2019 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 73 years, 6 months and 5 days. She was united in marriage to Charles Alfred Stowers and together they raised one son. Later on she married Elzora Lucy. She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, homemaker and friend. During her working years she was employed by Mar Bax Shirt Factory in Gassville. She retired after many years of employment. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son: David Stowers of Calico Rock; four stepchildren: Rick Lucy of Mountain Home, Robert Lucy of Mountain View, Ann Wooten of Calico Rock and Deb Rowland of Calico Rock; her uncle Gerald Wood of Pineville and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two stepchildren: Terry Lucy, Mike Lucy and four siblings.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 18 from 6-8 p.m. at Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 19 at 10:00 a.m. at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church with Andy Riley officiating. Burial will be at Galatia Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Samuel Hurst, James Hurst, Eddie Silvey.
