Died August 22, 1980, Calico Rock, Izard County, Arkansas.
Son of Arthur & Nola Cooper Loosey.
Husband of Francis Irene Lackey Lucy.
(His parents and some members of the family spell the name Loosey.)

Billy Hays Lucy, aged 46, of Calico Rock, died at the Calico Rock Medical Center on August 22, 1980. He was the son of Arthur Lucy and Nola Cooper Lucy. He was a retired engineer.
Mr. Lucy had spent the past 8 years in Izard County.
Survivors included his wife, Frances of the home; 2 daughters, Teresa Young of Mississippi and Judith Meyers of Flippin, AR; 2 sisters, Ardira Dickerson of Jordan and Leola Young of Norfork; three brothers, Clyde Loosey, Jr. Loosey, and Edward Loosey; and 5 grandchildren.
Funeral was at Galatia Methodist Church near Norfork on August 24th. Burial was in Galatia Cemetery. Bro. Don Penner officiating. Arrangements were by Howards.
Pallbearers were Joe Deloney, Howard Teagarden, Dale Stacey, L.D. Adams, Matthew Sutterfield and James Brock.
