When Theo Herschel Wilson was born on October 4, 1911, in Greenbrier, Arkansas, his father, Lush, was 33 and his mother, Jewell, was 20. He married Essie Faye Ault on July 19, 1931, in Marshall, Missouri. They had two children during their marriage. He died on December 13, 1974, in Eldorado Township, Arkansas, at the age of 63.
