Helen Margaret Wood, 88, of Vilonia, born March 18, 1924, left our loving arms on Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Helen was a homemaker who loved flowers, gardening and supporting and watching her grandkids in their sports activities. She was a member of Woodrow Church of Christ.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Peterboat Wilson; her parents, Jobie and Ira Anna Wood; son, Raymond Wilson, Jr.; son-in-law, Buddy Boyd; eight brothers and six sisters.
Those left to grieve are: son, Odis Wilson; daughters: Valla Boyd, Mary (Ted) Drysdale, Marty Wilson, Evon (Scott) Nealey and Bernell Wilson. Also surviving are her grandsons, Brian Wilson, Stacy Wilson, Heath Boyd, Jason Barrow, Jacob Drydale and Robert Nealey, granddaughters: Alisa Scanlon, Ashley Kilgore, Kortne Bongiorno, Vanessa Boyd, Samantha and Taylor Nealey; great-grandsons: Blaine Wilson, Paxton Kilgore, Damian Bongiorno, Payton Kilgore ( step-grandson), Caleb and Coleton Barrow, Lake Drysdale and Jaxon Boyd (due in Feb.); great-granddaughters: Mattie Scanlon, Kali Wilson, Bailey Grubbs and Jacklyn Grinder.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 2, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, with interment to follow at Cypress Valley Cemetery. Visitation is from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cypress Valley Cemetery, 311 Hwy 319 East, Vilonia, AR 72173.
