November 11, 1902 - November 7, 1967
Mrs. Mary Lambert Moore, 64, of Waldo died in a Magnolia Hospital Tuesday. She was born Nov. 11, 1902, in Ouachita County, Ark., and was the daughter of James A. and Christie Elizabeth Gannaway Pool. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Smackover. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Harold L. Barr of Waldo; one step-son, Randolph Moore of Camden; one step-daughter, Mrs. Mary Lou Warren of Pine Bluff; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Clawson of Conway and Mrs. Ercel Pate of Longview, Tex.; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Smackover with the Rev. D. W. Stark officiating. The Rev. Walter Gilbreath will assist. Burial will be at the Cross Roads Cemetery under the direction of Young's. Honorary pallbearers were Thomas W. Chadwell, Tom Smalley, Dr. Sam Jameson and I. J. Carroll. Active pallbearers were J. B. Lambert, Randy Moore, Sam Adair, Homer T. Rogers, Gaylon Thompson, Kenneth Eddy, Benton Strange and Lance Hatcher. (El Dorado Times - November 9, 1967)
