Edward Eugene Covington, 53, a farmer of the Buffalo community, died at his residence on Route 2, Mt. Home, Tuesday night.
The funeral is scheduled for 2PM today (Thursday) at the McClure Chapel. Bro. Troy Melton of Mt. Home will officiate and interment will be in the Heiskill Cemetery at Buffalo with the McClure Service in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Covington, a native and lifetime resident of this county, was born at Buffalo on Feb 6, 1906. He was the son of the late Augustus Covington and Lonia Heiskill Covington.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Effie Covington of the home; a son Gene Covington of Mt. Home; two daughters, Mrs. May Rose of Midway and Miss Loretta Covington of Mt. Home; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Margie Lane of Sidney and Mrs. Maude Smith of Florida.
