Listed as present through Augist 1862. U S Company A, 4 Arkansas Cavalry (Union) Pvt/Pvt. Enlisted Septmber 10, 1863 at Fort Smith. Age at enlistment: 34. On escort duty from January 1864. On daily duty as company cook April 1864. On detached service from June 26, 1864. On daily duty at regimental hospital August - October 1864. On daily duty as cook in regimental hospital from January 24, 1865. On picket duty at Little Rock April 1865. Mustered out of service June 30, 1865 at Little Rock. Born May 26, 1830 in Bledsoe County, Tennessee. Married Ruthey Sims November 1855 in Bledsoe County, Tennessee. Age listed as 30 on 1860 Johnson County, Arkansas Census. Filed Pension Application (#893,770) August 13m 1890 from Arkansas. Died November 19, 1895 in Logan County, Arkansas.
