Evelyn S Horn, age 84, of Russellville, died Saturday, January 25, 2003, at the home of a daughter.
She was born January 29, 1918 at El Paso, Texas and was a daughter of the late Saul and Cathrine Bennett Stripling. While living in Missouri, she was a member of various garden clubs and was active in church work, as a Sunday School teacher and a member of the choir. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Russellville. She was the widow of Charles J. Horn and was also preceded in death by a son, David Horn, a sister Mary Boeger and a son-in-law, Jim Whitney.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Carolyn and Tony Young of Russellville, Rebecca Whitney of Greenbrier, and Norma and Eugene Tracy of Overland Park, Missouri; a brother, Edwin K. Stripling of Kansas City, Missouri; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
