Jerrel Turner, 86, of Atkins, Arkansas passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Brookridge Cove Nursing Center in Morrilton, Arkansas. He was born February 16, 1929 in Morrilton the son of George F and Eunice Anderson Turner.He was a member of Calvary Temple Church where he served as deacon for many years. He was also a 32nd degree Mason and member of Morrilton Lodge #105.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Clyde Turner; sisters Mary Sanders, Jean Urquhart and Euna Mae Gibby; son-in-law, Don Pearman; and granddaughter, Traci Pearman.He is survived by his wife of 66 years Mae Ruth Turner; daughter Linda Pearman; grandson Donny Pearman and wife, Pam; granddaughter Staci and husband Scott Duvall; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers Roy Paul Turner and wife Reba and George Turner and wife Jeanetta; sister Claudia Stracener; and numerous other family members, church family and friends.
Pallbearers were Donny Pearman, Scott Duvall, Rusty Gadberry, Charles Smith, Jeff Lewis and Dan Hattabaugh.

Mae Ruth Summers Turner, age 87, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home. She is now enjoying a glass of heavenly sweet tea (extra ice) with late husband Jerrel Turner. The daughter of Thomas Edward and Chella Mae Elliot Summers, she had 8 siblings: the late Ruby Jones, Valree Hoyt, George Ed, Jewel Watkins, Charlie, Budd, David, and surviving brother Willie Bob Summers.
Her strong and content spirit began as a child while she was shepherding her siblings and carried over to her role as mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is the mother of Linda Kay (Turner) Pearman of Atkins and the grandmother of Donny Pearman of Eagle Rock, Missouri, the late Traci Pearman of Atkins, and Staci Pearman Duvall of Russellville. Mae Ruth was blessed with five great grandchildren: Alyssa, Tyler, Collin, Austin, and Ella.
Pallbearers include Scott, Tyler, and Austin Duvall, Donny and Collin Pearman, and Rusty Gadberry. The family would also like to extend a special honor to Willie Bob Summers, George and Roy Paul Turner, Stella Manor Nursing staff, and Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home staff.
